Where is Lirio Lodge Located and how can you get there?
Lirio Lodge is a 10-minute boat ride from where Madre de Dios and the Pacuare River meet the Caribbean Sea. Opposite is a pristine private reserve. You take the boat from the Goshen Pier and enjoy a slow yet scenic ride to the hotel.
Goshen Pier is located about 25 minutes north of Batan Village in world-renowned Tortuguero canals. Lirio Lodge is located 74 km south of the town of Tortuguero, in a region named Pacuare.
The best route is to drive from San Jose to Siquirres then about 15 minutes the Siquirres turn off, and exit left from the main road to the town of Batan. Once in Batan, the route continues for approximately 25 minutes by a gravel road to the Goshen Pier.
At the Goshen Pier, there is free and secure parking. The Lirio Lodge boat with the guide will be waiting for you and the adventure begins!
