Whether you want to dedicate yourself to teaching yoga, or you´d like to elevate your knowledge of the practice, this Yoga Teacher Training is for you.
Nancy Goodfellow, owner of Pranamar Oceanfront Villas and Yoga Retreat, has teamed up with Esteban Salazar, owner of Krama Studio in San José, to teach this exciting instructor training combining their years of experience and expertise into an international course. Training has been scheduled for September 8th – September 28th, 2017 at Pranamar Villas in Santa Teresa, Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.
Nancy, originally from the US, has been studying yoga since 1992, initiating in the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition and eventually incorporating Tantric practices into her own “Shakti Flow” practices. Esteban, born in Costa Rica, has been practicing, studying and teaching yoga for almost 17 years, and his classes center in concentrating in each asana, and achieving optimal energy flow through his signature “Krama Vinyasa” style.
Esteban expanded on details of the training, saying the requirements to participate are to have practiced yoga for at least six months, but more than that to be fully dedicated and committed to the practice. Esteban commented, “The program is designed to enjoy the beach, the waves, the hotel. Schedule will include several asanas and meditations a day, along with free time which may be used for surfing, a massage and enjoying the sunset.”
There are many different packages available to attend. If staying at Pranamar Oceanfront Villas and Yoga Retreat, all 200 hours of Instructor training including meals will range from $4,000 per person to $6,000 depending on single, double or shared room occupancy.
Conscious nutrition is also a part of the instruction, healthy balanced food is stressed without adhering to any diet. The lovely fresh fruit and vegetables at this tropical location combine with other products obtained from local farmers and fishermen and inspire chefs to produce healthy inventive meals for guests.
